seattlelaptopinc store This auction is for a 2012 Volt I purchased for parts. I used the rear hatch, rear bumper cover, and left taillight for my 2011 which was hit in the back. This car for sale has been hit hard in the front, but I assume most major parts (engine, transmission, electric motor, battery, controller etc.) are usable and probably functional. These parts have not been tested. I do not want to part this car out. Will sell whole car only. I will describe what I have observed inspecting this car. It will be sold as is for parts with no warranty of any kind. Even though something seemed to work when I tested it, I will not warranty it (anything) will work when the buyer gets the car. I am only trying to give as complete of description as possible. If you have any further questions go ahead and ask, and I will respond immediately. As the pictures show the car was hit in the front, and has damaged parts on the back (from my other car). The A arms are broken up front, so the front tires are loose, but the car does roll. One wheel is bent. Three of the doors are in good shape, and the drivers door could probably be straightened and repaired with some work. All of the window glass is unbroken, including the glass in the rear hatch. The windshield is broken. Part of the A arm dented the oil filter, but I could not see any obvious damage to the engine. I did not look real hard. When turned on the dash said the battery had 19 miles to go, so I assume it probably works. Still, no way to test it and no battery warranty. The dash, and control console turn on, and seem to work, and I spent some time listening to the Bose sound system. I think most or all of the air bags were deployed, but I am not sure how many there are. I do have the key (included), but no battery charger. Please look at the pictures closely to determine if you can use the parts. Remember, I am selling this car as is with no warranty of any kind. I have a California Salvage Certificate (title) and odometer statement and the vehicle will be sold with a notarized release of interest. Note: The front bumper was recycled and is not included.
