A few months ago I found an advertisement in Texas that looked promising. After speaking at length with the owner I knew this truck showed a lot of promise. I made an agreement with him and booked a flight for my mechanic to check it out. One week later my mechanic was in Dallas to check it out. It was obvious that the owner really cared for the truck and wanted to make sure it went to someone who wouldn't abuse it. Unfortunately, it had been rarely used for the past 10+ years and spent most of this time garaged and almost forgotten. Without hesitation, rather than having it shipped, my mechanic decided to take an adventurous drive back to Oregon in the truck. After 4 days and over 2,000 miles, my mechanic made it back without issue. I truly would not hesitate to drive this truck anywhere! I’ve driven it a few hundred miles since and have never had an issue. It fires up the first time every time and runs great. I actually smile every time it fires up. I just think about what an amazing testament to the quality of these trucks are when I fire up this 31 year old truck effortlessly. If you know about these trucks, and have seen others, you know what an EXTREMELY RARE find this one is. It is nearly impossible to find an ORIGINAL FJ60. If you don’t know of the FJ60’s reliability and versatility, do your homework. I challenge you to find any negative comments on any website. In my opinion, these are the best SUV’s ever made. This is a proven truck with years of reliability. This truck has EXTREMELY LOW MILES for the year. This truck also has a CLEAN TITLE. It has a CLEAN CarFax and has NO ACCIDENTS OR RUST. This is a truck that can literally last a lifetime and be passed from generation to generation. These trucks are only increasing in value and are widely popular across all generations and demographics. I've sold them in the past to ranchers, commercial pilots, CEO's of investment firms, conspiracy theorists, hipsters and fathers who just want a safe vehicle for their family. Imperfections on the interior are minimal. The interior is a 7 out of 10. Keep in mind this is a 31 year old truck and it is not perfect. However, it is in excellent condition overall. The exterior has new paint and is a 9 out of 10. Again, keep in mind this is a 31 year old truck and it is not perfect, but it is in remarkable condition for its age. Mechanically EVERYTHING WORKS on the truck as it should. The engine runs very strong with NO SMOKING or KNOCKS. The transmission shifts flawlessly. The 4WD shifts effortlessly and works amazing. The AC is not currently blowing cold but does engage; I assume it just needs to be recharged. The headlight washers are also not hooked up currently (it would need a new basin). The rear window washer is also not hooked up. The only items I've sold on eBay have been cars and trucks; and my feedback continues to be 100% positive; This is my 27th restoration.
