This auction is for a WRECKED 2003 Chevy Silverado SS extended cab short bed pickup. It has the 345 horsepower 6.0L LS based V8 engine, automatic transmission and AWD drivetrain. Odometer shows 204,397 miles (as of auction listing). It has a SALVAGE Ohio title-not rebuilt. Black exterior that is in good shape for age and mileage, from the doors back. The black leather interior could use cleaned, but is also in good shape for age and mileage, with cracking/tears on driver side front seat bottom. As you can tell, this truck has been wrecked, and has front end damage. It is very likely there is some sort of frame damage from the accident, but I am not an expert. I bought this truck for the engine/drivetrain for another vehicle, and have since decided to cancel that project. Some of the damaged parts were removed in order to start the engine without damage, and all of those parts were placed in the bed of the truck. Most of the damaged parts not still attached to the front of the truck are also in the bed. The engine fired right up, and ran great-radiator and cooling fan damaged so engine was not ran for a long period of time. Truck will "lot drive" (slow speeds around parking lot) and could be taken down the road *at own risk* for test drive. All doors are rust free and in good shape. Bed has a small spot of surface rust on passenger side (looks like a paint chip that was neglected) but otherwise in great shape. Has a line X bedliner. Wheels all appear to be in good shape with no cracks or bends. Tires all have decent tread left, with more tread on the fronts-the passenger front tire appears to have some marks on it from accident, but holds air. All engine wiring is in tact, along with engine accessories and brackets. Would be a great donor vehicle or parts vehicle!!! Or I'm sure with enough time and knowledge, the truck could be repaired and back on the road?! Truck is located in Dayton, OH 45414.
