I am selling my 2004 Jaguar xk8 this vehicle comes from the east coast NY area and has been in flood waters. Engine will not crank with key in ignition but will crank if you hot wire starter. I believe the security system is keeping vehicle from starting. Engine compression test were very good, the ECM ECU & body control modules tested good. Trunk fuse box security module has been replaced but has not been programmed to the car. Started working on car until I had heart attack now my wife will not let me finish it. Coolant fans, starter, alternator, trunk security module was replace before I had to stop. Key was taken to jaguar dealer and was told it also was not programmed to car. Thanks for looking
