I’m finally selling my baby. It’s a 1989 Gen1 Ford SHO. I’m going to make this listing as simple and honest as I possibly can. I’ve owned 5 SHO’s in the past 15 years, and my collection has seen its end with this last sale. I have owned this car for just over 6 years. It had less than 99K miles when I brought it and currently has 129K so just 30K in 6 years. The car was mainly driven to car shows, and around town to other events. Never been beaten up. Within the past year it has had a FULL 60k completed, All gaskets, water pump, timing belt, fuel pump, and sensors replaced. Timing adjusted, head gasket, oil pan gasket, spark plug gaskets, and injectors replaced. Brand new Larger than stock ClutchMasters Stage 1 clutch, and aluminum flywheel and throw-out bearing was installed. AmsOil gear oil was replaced in the transmission, and syn oil has only been used in the car. New tires, rotors and breaks were installed. New Starter, battery, Alternator, Plugs Wires, Motor mounts installed. It has a brand new rear windshield installed. Struts and shocks replaced about 2 years ago. Mechanically the car is sound, pulls very hard in all gears, handles like a gem. Below are issues that need to be addressed. Ive easily spent over $5,000 in upgrading this beauty. Issues that need to be addressed: · The car needs a paint job. · The headliner is sagging and need to be fixed. · The A/C does not work. Needs a new compressor. · The heater core needs to be replaced. · The gasket for the sunroof needs to be replaced. · Needs New Radio Antenna, Still works fine. · The Door Ajar light is on. No clue why, all doors close properly. The car is located in Hampton Virginia. I will assist the buyer with loading the car for shipping. My feedback speaks for itself.
