For sale is a 1993 GMC Typhoon. If your looking for this vehicle, you probably know more about it than I do! This truck was purchased through auction as part of a multi car deal and helped my deal go together. The vehicle runs and drives but is a project vehicle. The body and interior are very clean. The leather seats are in excellent condition. The 4.3L turbocharged motor runs a little rough and the suspension needs some minor work. The engine does not overheat or anything major. The shocks are bad and the steering linkage a little loose. The rear tires are brand new and the front tires are very good. I've only driven the truck about 10 miles so I cannot attest to its driveability on a long trip. The mileage shows 51,586 but I do not know if it's exact or not. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS" with NO RESERVE. Please understand that a "project vehicle" will need some work to be as it should be. $1000 deposit is due within 24 hours of sale and the balance in cash or certified funds or USPS money order due on delivery. On Oct-19-15 at 08:38:57 PDT, seller added the following information: I have received a lot of questions all asking the same things. I hope this helps answer some of those questions. 1) I do NOT know why the title is a Colorado Certificate of Title branded "Salvage Title". 2) I have no history on the vehicle other than what shows on an Autocheck report. 3) The body has no rust along the bottom of the doors or the bottom of the tail gate. 4) The only work we've done was a battery to get it running and changed the plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The air intake tubes were loose so they were tightened up. 5) The electronics seem to be all operational. The windows, lights, radio all work. 6) The engine does not overheat and the oil is clear. There is no excessive smoke coming out of the exhaust. 7) The interior is in excellent condition. No rips or tears in the seats. The dash has a dash cover and is also in excellent condition. the door panels are not broken. The ignition lock cylinder was replaced by me because the "wings" were broken. 8) The front driveshaft is in place and the AWD is operational. 9) The turbo does spool up but the blow off valve seems to release a little too early. I suspect some vacuum leaks or a bad blow off valve. 10) I am selling it because I have no interest in repairing, restoring, or keeping the vehicle.
