Up for auction is my beautiful 1976 Mercedes Benz 450SL Roadster with a factory removable hardtop. The car has 101,000 miles which is an average of 2600 miles a year. The condition of this car inside,outside,and underneath with it's originality is amazing. The exterior paint primarily original with a few touch ups from the typical nicks and scratches through the years.  See pictures attached showing the under side which is original and rust free. The starts,runs,and drives beautifully without a vibration or drifting. The transmission shifts perfectly and smooth as it was new. The car has an almost new heartz canvas top and rear window in perfect condition. The pictures show clearly that the dashboard has no cracks and the carpeting is in excellent condition. The drivers seat has a little wear above the belt level from getting in and out. Otherwise the seat on the passenger side is excellent. The door panels are in excellent condition as well and are factory. All the instrument gauges work as well as the power windows,cruise control,original factory am/f/ radio as well as the power antenna. The air conditioning  has not been charged in years because we use it with the top off all the time. The steering wheel is an optional Nardi wood wheel which matches the wood veneers nicely. Refer to the pictures of the wood veneers to see how well they have been preserved through the years. The car has upgraded original Mercedes aluminum wheels and centers and really set the car off beautifully. The trunk contains factory original tools for changing a tire as well as the two tools for removing the hardtop with it's original pouch. The exhaust system is brand new as well as the rear brakes, rotors and caliper. I also just had new spark plugs,wires and a automatic transmission filter done. This is a very nice 450SL to be used daily or for special occasions. I love the car and must sell it because my wife has a new car that will be garaged and will not let me keep this  in the garage anymore. Bid with confidence.
