Here is the one! Ready to be finished out. This 1976 jaguar xj6 c is very rare and even more so with its 6 cylinder jaguar engine in place. I think 76 was the last year for carbed jags. I bought this car as an easy to restore car. With All the hard work being done. The jag has good quality paint and I was told by the previous owner that when he had the paint done (5000.00)he also had the engine and transmission done. I can see a rebuild tag on the transmission and the engine is very clean and runs very well with no smoke or knock. The car has been setting inside a building for several years so the carbs need cleaned up and the brakes need flushing etc. with out much work it could be on the road again. I bought a full leather seat set that is a light tan with blue piping ,very sharp! Head liner needs to be reinstalled because when the car was painted they pulled the sun roof. Supposed to have 24000 actual miles. I have been all under the car and could absolutely find no rust except for the right hand side floor pan where the previous owner said when he got the car the right window was broke and water got to the floorboard and sat. I ordered a brand new reproduction piece and had it installed,they did a great job. Bottom line is zero rust on the car in the quarters,rockers etc. has the real wire wheels,moonroof and a real California car that still has the clear California title with it. The xj6c is very rare and desirable with just a few hundred left. This will make a really sharp looking car without breaking the bank. Remember it has a brand new set of leather seat skins that just need to be installed. I really like this car but I bought an xke and it's taking more money than I thought it would so I'm selling this one. I am available to show this car at any time given notice. I have a lift if you would like to look under it. The car is in my garage just outside of Denton ,Tx. Which is north of Dallas by about 30 miles or so.
