Up for auction is a 1953 3600 Chevrolet truck 4 speed transmission, in line 6 cylinder engine .Was used as a wrecker service truck.Has original motor and transmission and nearly all other parts are original.Body is in good shape with minimal rust as you can see. Interior does need tlc and has some bad rust spots on floor. Does have very solid frame and body as seen in the pictures. Ran when parked but has been sitting for the past couple years in our shed and had it moved to my home today. I did put a battery on it and some clean fuel in it and it started up for me. I didn't leave it running long since I do not know much about these and did not want to damage anything. Would be a great project which I had plans to restore but have no time and its time to find a new owner. The back three windows on the cab are in good shape with no cracks or damage though the passenger main window has a crack and so does the main driver window. Front windshield is in good shape but has a small rock chip in the glass on the left side. There was spare parts i found in a box when i purchased it which will also be included in the auction. I am unsure how to operate the back hydraulic lift though it seems to all be there. I was going to remove it and make it a flat bed or restore as a wrecker service truck. Back tires do not hold air so i have put a jack to relieve some of the pressure on the rear rims.Being sold as is. This truck has LOTS of potential just needs some tlc and a good owner.
