1984 Porsche 944 This is a Great Entry Level Porsche for the price! This is a Great Summer Car or the car if you just want something with a little excitement that is sporty and get others attention! The owner was a 94 year old gentleman that just went into a extended care facility. The cars title has been signed and notarized by the person that is the Power Of Attorney for him so it is ready to be put into the new owners name. The car has not been driven much in recent years, his son in law would take it out every few months for a short drive to keep it in basic running order. It appears to be in over all good condition but could use a day or two to do the standard maintenance that would be expected from a car that has been mostly sitting the past 10 years. It does have a new set of tires. The paint is very good driver and local show quality, The Motor and Transmission are in very good condition, It starts and the car drives very nicely, the Idle is a little ruff (may need a basic tune up). The Tach does not always work-possibly a simple wire connection, the sun roof works but the switch may need to be replaced- the switch has come unclipped from it's mount on the console so that might be all it is, the Body is in very nice condition, there is no know accidents and the sheet metal is believed to be all original with no dents, The Space Saver Spare Tire looks to have never been used, The Headlights work properly and the Brakes seem to be in good operating condition, The interior is in very nice condition with no tears or wear to the seats, the carpet looks to be in very good condition also, The Trunk Carpet area covering has some stain marks-they may clean up to a degree, The pictures show the car as it is, we have not cleaned it up to hide anything-what you see is the way it was pulled out of the garage. I have tried to describe this car to the best of my ability, I am not a Porsche expert so any questions may take me some time to get you the answer from the owners family.
