1935 Ford Deluxe 2dr Sedan 221 Flathead V8 Updated Cast Iron Heads Circa 1947 Has Not Been On The Road Since 1988 (89 Inspection Exp) Original Aluminum Heads Replaced Back In The 40’s With The Improved Cast Iron Cylinder Heads (1947) Due To Corrosion Between Aluminum & Steel. Ford Only Offered Cast Iron As The Replacement Heads. I'm Guessing by The Date Stamp On Cylinder Heads "47". Nearly All Original Other Than One Repaint Back In The 80’s, Newer Wide White Firestone (Back in the 80's) Tires & A Recent Battery & Gas Tank Very Solid Top To Bottom With Only Surface Rust To Frame & Floors. Pictures Tell It All. Runs & Drives Excellent & Runs Cool Even In Traffic. Shifts Out Good And Stops Really Well For A ar With Steel Rods Doing The Work. Could Use A Front Carpet & 2 Of The Original Windows Have Cracks In Them, Otherwise Pretty Much The Rest Is Great. I Would Say Much More Than A Driver Quality Car Especially For A 80 Year Old Car. The Paint Is Clean Shiny And Really A Unique Original Color As Mentioned-New Firestone Wide Whites Back When It Was Painted. All Great Condition And Nearly New Treads. New Gas Tank Due To Sitting For Nearly 27 Years New Battery Freshly Serviced Fresh Tune-up Needs a carpetNeeds the gas gauge wire soldered & I will attempt to repair that before delivery-no promises. This is a rare heater car with defroster too85 HP V8 Engine & Runs Strong! I would spend all day describing this kind of car but the fact is that the pictures spell it out as it is, just a wonderful car so please bid on and buy this car for whatever reasons you have….street-rod, hot-rod, custom, show car, parade car, daily driver or with a few bucks you can make it a very nice show car.I purchased this vehicle at an auction from a dealer selling it for a friend of his. The prior owner was ill and after suffering a stroke he was not able to drive this wonderful car anymore. More recently his drivers license was taken away from him so he asked his dear friend to sell his car collection so that other people would appreciate and enjoy them as he did. The cars were kept in dry warm storage for a very long time and very well preserved from the weather. This vehicle shows 77,000 miles which would be like driving it less than 1000 miles a year for 80 years.
