PLEASE READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION......1965 Chevy C 60 with a great running 292 inline 6. Equipped with an NP435 4 speed transmission and a two speed rear axle. My understanding is that it is unusual for for these trucks to come equipped with an NP435. The two speed rear axle works as it should. Unfortunately the truck is going to need a clutch in the near future as it is getting harder and harder to shift. to replace a clutch on one of these trucks is no big deal. If I don't sell it I plan on changing it here in the near future. As a result I haven't been driving it very much. I have done quite a bit of work to the truck over the last 2 years.The work includes a full tune up, new aluminum radiator with electric fan and thermostat control,new carburetor,new exhaust manifold and complete new exhaust, new battery,new alternator,new water pump,all new hoses, new belt, replaced intake manifold with one from a truck out of Texas as the old one was cracked, new rear wheel cylinders, new tail lights,new starter,new battery leads,new ignition and headlight switch, I replaced the original rh5 split rims with some decent used lock ring wheels with decent rubber. I do have a full set of the hard to find Accuride 22.5 tubeless rims,model number 28160. They are not included with the sale but i will offer a deal to the winning bidder. the truck is equipped with a 16 foot flatbed that I just painted.The bed is wood with a steel frame. The truck stops and steers good. I have the original radiator,fan shroud, and fan.The parking brake is disconnected but I have all of the parts that go to it.The cab does have some rust in the kick panels, floors,and it has some areas on the doors and rocker panels that are starting to bubble just a little bit.This truck is very solid and a great candidate for a restoration but it is by no means perfect. All of the C60 specific body parts do not have any rust that I can find. This truck is definitely way above average for its age. the odometer has gone kind of funky on me and the numbers are actually peeling off of the dials for whatever reason, but when I bought the truck the odometer said 91000 miles and I haven't driven it much since. I have used it to make some trips to town and mainly to haul hay on my farm. Truck is located in Crown Point Indiana. I get compliments on this truck everywhere I go on people are always telling me how nice it is. Even if this truck does not have much of a collector value the truck can still be put to work with very little effort. Overall this truck is just awesome and I hope somebody out there can take it to the next level.
