1996 BMW 318ti--- Azur with soft grey leather interior and California Sports package. 1 Owner, All Original Vin Tags In Place, K&N Air Filter, Sport Suspension, Sport Wheels, Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, 4 speed Automatic Transmission, New Tires, A/C, All Original Tools, All Original Books, 2 Master Keys, Non Smoker, Clean Title and Clean Carfax. This BMW 318ti is beautiful considering it’s in near classic status and is a daily driver with over 215,000 miles on it. All the body panels are original, all vin plates are original intact and legible. Never been in an accident or damaged in any way. The interior is good but there is work to be done if you are restoring the car. There is no rust anywhere, (Carolina car and always garaged) and there does not look to be any damage on any of the panels underneath. The car rides tight just like a BMW (steering and suspension are responsive and precise). Can be driven (delivered) anywhere. But, let’s get real for a moment. This car has over 200K miles so everything is not perfect. The headliner is sagging. Like many BMWs of this era, the windows came off the tracks occasionally so these power windows have been disabled (they work but the window won’t stay on track). There’s a split on the passenger seat leather along the stitching (it doesn’t show but it’s there). The car is driven almost every day so everything works - the radio, the cassette, the power sun roof. MPG numbers above are actual mpg and not estimates. New tires, new front struts, new trunk struts, and other odds and ends. I also have the original owner’s manuals and two original sales brochures. If you want a solid classic BMW to restore to original condition, this is the one. And, don’t forget, this car has the California sun roof and Sports package.
