1976 Convertible Volkswagen Super Beetle Karmann Wolfsburg Edition You are bidding on a Classic 1976 Volkswagen Beetle. It has an original color of Miami Blue. This Volkswagen Beetle was restored in 2002 and has been garage kept since its restoration. It has been owned by the same family since its purchase in 1976 but I am the second owner in the family. It has a New Rebuilt engine with only about 3 to 4 hours of run time on it. It was installed in late August 2015. Like most 13 year old restorations, that are driven frequently, it has wear and tear. The Good 1. The paint is in good condition. (a few imperfections) 2. Body is in good shape. 3. Top is in excellent shape. 4. Radio is in excellent shape. 5. New Tires. 6. New Clutch. 7. New Rebuilt Engine. 8. Transmission is good. 9. Bumpers are straight. (surface rust in spots) 10. Gas tank was new in 2002. 12. Upholstery on seats are in good condition. (one spot on passenger side seat where seat belt touches is worn) 13. New Seat belts were installed in 2008. 14. Speakers work. 15. New floor pans front and rear installed in 2002. 16. Rear original window is made of glass. 17. Original Owners Manual still in glove box. The Worn 1. Weather seals on windows need replacing. 2. Bottom of rear fenders under bumper has damage (pictured) from tow truck. 3. Windshield cracked. 4. Bumpers have small surface rust. 5. Bumper shocks on rear are worn. 6. Bubbles under paint have occurred on rear passenger quarter panel. 7. Passenger seat has small worn spot from seat belt. 8. Dash has a crack or two from the sun. 9. Carpet in rear had to be pulled up but front carpet still exist. 10. Seat slider channels are worn. 11. Chrome strip on hood has been modified to fit. 12. Top catches when letting up but will go up.
