Vehicle Detail
The time has come to sell my Mustang project. It turned out as well (or better) than I had hoped, but it just does not get driven and needs to go to a new home. I personally think the color combination would be great for a Longhorn or Vols fan, but most everyone who sees the car likes it, so I guess it could fit in anywhere! I got the car as a painted, rolling chassis and went from there. It has a mildly built 289, Holley 600, HEI ignition and Painless wiring harness. The tranny is a 4 speed top loader coupled to a 3,56 open rear diff. The speedo gears have been adjusted so the speedo is calibrated correctly. Front and rear brakes are new as are most front end components. The car has just over 250 total miles since completion, so it is darn near a new car. It does not have power steering or brakes. The door handles have been shaved and are electrically actuated via a remote control key fob (2 included). The truck does not have an external key hole and is opened via a cable that runs to a lever by the drivers seat. Complete (and I mean complete) new interior. Seats, carpet, headliner, carpet was all replaced and looks great. It runs and drives as you would expect. Tight and relatively fast even at our 7800' elevation. Fun to drive, sounds fantastic (complete new dual exhaust, Flowmaster type mufflers, hangers, tips, everything). I have set the reserve at what I have spent on the car in parts alone, and I was given the rolling, painted chassis by a friend who could not complete the project. Someone is going to get a really cool car at a fantastic price. Feel free to ask any and all questions prior to bidding. Please do not ask what my reserve is. If you want the car, get in the action and bid! Don't miss out on this one! Thanks for looking and get to bidding!!! On Sep-08-15 at 05:44:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I need to add that currently, the car does not have an operable horn or heater. I never drive the car in conditions that needed a heater, and as I recall, the issue is the switch in the heater control. The heater core and plumbing are in place. There is no horn installed under the hood, I just wave as folks holler "Nice Car!"On Sep-20-15 at 16:11:17 PDT, seller added the following information: I just dropped the reserve on this car a ton. I intend for it to sell this go around. Someone is going to get a very nice car at a killer deal. Good Luck!
