Prior to that, it sat in a Georgia garage for what I am told almost 20 years. All numbers match, everything is original. I have owned this vehicle for the past 16 years and have driven it only on a limited basis. What makes this stand above others is this Mustang has the 289 with the 4 barrel carburetor 225 hp. here are no rust bubbles in the paint anywhere that I can see. I left this all original, there is no power steering and no disc brakes. There are plenty of aftermarket units available out there. I was advised to keep it original and that's what I did. This car is not perfect however, it has always been kept in a climate controlled garage and well maintained. The tires are in very good shape, good tread left and no cracking on the tires that I can see. No rips or tears in the seats or in the carpet and both are in very good shape. I replaced the top with a factory spec model complete with the bi-fold glass rear window. The automatic pumps for the power top were also rebuilt at that time. The Mustang was painted before I bought it and I see no chips or scratches. The black window moldings could use replacing, all four windows crank up and down freely.
