I bought this with the intention of fixing it up and driving it as a daily driver as I have other more expensive vehicles. I fixed all of the mechanical issues and it turns out that I still don't drive it too much and have taken on another classic car restoration. I have replaced the following parts with new parts over the last 2,000 miles plus others:- Rebuilt the automatic transmission - full rebuild with all name brand parts and frictions - Raybestos Zpak, also a hardened sun shell which is a common failure. New rebuilt torque converter. I also replaced the valve body and have extra AC Delco solenoids for the future - included in the sale. Also replaced transmissions mount, rear main seal @ engine, new saddle bearing and had the driveshaft rebalanced.- New alternator- New A/C compressor and dryer.- New General Grabber tires- New Monroe Sensa Trac shocks- All new brakes. New booster, master cylinder, all new calipers, rotors, pads, adjusted and lubricated the parking brake.- Installed aftermarket cd / mp3 stereo with 4 new pioneer speakers. Sounds great!- New tailgate hardware including the handle, latches and cables.- Replaced the oil pan gasket- Installed a new belt tensioner- I also did a full tuneup including all new AC Delco platinum plugs, wires, cap, rotor Could use a paint job.
