Now we have Larry Weatherford from Milledgeville GA , with a ebay name of Bahamasboy46 , who just decided to ignore all 3 requests for deposit and refused to contact us......very fustrating haveing someone as ignorant as him bid on your item at the end. anyway im just going to put a buy it now Greg >I do not want to restore this car i dont have time and there is way to much sentament on a local owner Not sure where to begin . this is 100 percent series 62 cadillac with power windows and seats. added a/c that operates. i jumped the comprssor and it kicked on, just needs a charge.. would be the only thing not original to the car, but living in florida im sure was needed . he also added seat blelts. the original owner was DR. Mark A.R. Not sure where to begin . this is 100 percent series 62 cadillac with power windows and seats. added a/c that operates. i jumped the comprssor and it kicked on, just needs a charge.. would be the only thing not original to the car, but living in florida im sure was needed . he also added seat blelts.

the original owner was DR. Mark A.R. Kuhn M.D.

he bought the car brand new from Groustra Motor Sales in Decorah, Iowa on January 31,1953

this car is so documented its crazy original cadillac owner policy,original letter from cadillac motor car division

original owners manual

a bunch of original registrations

he passed away in 1999

prior to that he instructed the car be put into his sons name

he has documented all work done to this car , with literally a book that is a historical book on the car 16 typed pages of history and how to care for the car that he wrote to give to his son. it gives me the chills just to read and see how much detail and thought went into this car he loved so much.

15 pages of instructions he also wrote.....WOW

The car

THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES.

interior could be all original and everything is there and works except the drivers power window . we put power to the motor and it goes up and down.

all dash is perfect working order as well, steering wheel has no cracks

all interior lights operate as they should

headliner is excellent

all glass is perfect

all interior brightwork is excellent

BODY

the body is lazer straight with some dents pointed out there is a bill to fix lower rear fender for 90.00 so not sure what it was

all chrome and stainless is magnificant . i have pointed out the two pieces that are dented with one of them in the trunk, as pictured.

the car appears to have all original paint, all emblems are present

even has the two piece liscense plate holder

all exterior brightwork and stainless is almost perfect. hub caps fender skirts

Mechanical

the car strats right up no blow by or not even a puff of smoke.

the car shifts perfect

the brakes have a leaking master cly

suspension is tight

no major leaks anywhere actually very dry as you can see by pictures

Undercarriage

as again you can see by the pictures it is amazing how clean and rust free it is
