Vehicle Detail
This is a cool looking old car with rear suicide doors. It has been in enclosed storage for the past 25yrs. The pictures give a good account of the car's condition. Basically, what you see, is what you get, but rest assured that the car is mostly complete except there is no front bumper and no air cleaner. Now might be a good time to mention that I have another exact same model of this car which has been partially disassembled, and would make a great parts car for this one. The other car is also listed as item # 161810013866 on Ebay, and ends on Sunday, 9/6. The auction car has no rust issues in the floorboards, the body, or the frame, but there are rust issues in the trunk at the very rear where it is a recessed area that would collect water.(see pictures) There are no rust issues in the rear wheel wells. (see Pictures) The removeable 2 access pieces for the front floorboard have been unbolted and are currently just setting in place. One of the pieces has some rust on the corner and should not be a hard fix. The window glass has a couple of broken windows and in 3 windows, the inner plastic has aged and crystalized and will need to be replaced. (Note: the other car I mentioned, its windows all around are good except for the left rear side window which has a couple of cracks from a BB gun. Also the front floorboard is good and it has the air cleaner.) All upholstery needs replacing. The body is pretty straight except the right rear fender has a dent. (see picture) Health reasons and recent surgeries have sidelined me from being able to pursue my restoration hobby for some time now, and as a result I am selling all my project cars and trucks "as is". I can no longer perform the labor and effort to get them running and driving. As a result, I can not personally vouch for the condition of the engine and drivetrain. I have done my best to portray the condition of this car and the other one also. I does not make any difference to me, but I still think someone would be best served by acquiring both vehicles...Restore them both, or restore one and keep the other as a parts car...you decide. If you are interested in both cars as a package deal, then let me know ahead of time and we can work something out. I can store the car (or cars) for a while if the buyer can not take immediate possession...Just let me know how much time you need and we will work it out. I have set a low starting price with No Reserve to ensure a sale.
