This is a 1998 Toyota Tacoma with only 162K miles. Truck had signs of head gasket leak (white smoke, coolant level down with no leaks) about 3 years ago. Head gasket sealant was added since the truck never ran hot while idling. Truck never overheated. The truck does not seem to use coolant now and does not run hot. (not a daily driver) If engine is cold and started, will still show very slight white exhaust for a few minutes then goes away. Oil and oil cap show no signs of water in it. To fix the engine properly, I'm 99% sure it will need a new head gasket, which is why I am starting the auction well below average recently sold listings. As far as I can tell, would cost about $1500 average, unless you do it yourself. Vehicle runs fine but does have check engine light on (Cooling code p0125) and is not in inspection. Even with check engine light, does not overheat or use oil. Needs new floor mats. ( I have the old ones but they are pretty shot) Has some stains on carpet. Small crack in rear left tail light. Has good size dent in right passenger door (see pics). The pictures at the end show some of the paint that could use some work, but overall paint is pretty decent. Small dent in hood. Window trim on passenger side has small bow in it as you can see in picture from having a busted out window replaced. As you can see, some surface rust on frame, muffler, etc. Great truck, just needs a little TLC. Email with any questions or to see it before auction ends. SOLD AS IS. NO WARRANTY. NO RETURNS.
