1966 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396 4 speed coupe . Original color code Aztec bronze paint with black vinyl top . Paint is a 9 out of 10 . Arrow straight body lines , hood , fenders and door gaps are perfect . Blasted and stripped frame off restoration . All original body panels , fenders , rockers , floors , doors , and quarter panels (vin numbers still present in top of quarters ) . There are two lower 6" quarter patch panels at the bottom of quarters . Trunk pan is an earlier replacement pan . Era correct 1966 2 bolt main Non matching numbers 396 block , bored 30. over to 402 . Block has been decked ( missing numbers ) fresh rebuild with dyno sheet , over 400 horse power . Runs 180 degrees all day long . New 2 1/2 inch Flow master exhaust system , sounds incredible . Muncie M21 4 speed transmission with original reverse lock-out shifter . 12 bolt posi rear end with 373 gears . Power disk brakes , power steering . Black bucket interior with center console , tilt wheel column with reproduction rosewood steering wheel . Nice firm seats with new covers and door panels . Horn button and console clock are not currently working . Retro sound AM/FM cassette stereo . Car drives straight , does not vibrate or pull .
