Vehicle Detail
up for auction my 1961 chevy belair, its a factory 6 cyl car that currently has a rebuilt (1965) 283 v8, with a 2 speed auto, the car starts, runs and drives down the street good, brakes have been upgraded to a dual master cylinder, and I've gone through the brake system, replacing a few wheel cylinders, rear shoes and lines as needed to get the brakes working properly, the car is currently running off an aux fuel tank under the hood, as I wanted to drop and clean the fuel tank after the carb was rebuilt but just haven't had the time yet to do it, The exhaust is all new, but the tailpipe still needs to be installed. the floor pans have some rot and will need to be replaced, as do the rockers. I have bought full replacement pans already and will be sold with the car, there is also some rot in the trunk that will need attention. overall its a great running car that just needs some love to have her cruising again. I try to list as much info as possible, so you know exactly what your buying, my feedback proves that, serious buyers can email me their phone number and I will gladly call you and answer any questions you may have.
please note!!! rhode island does not issue titles on vehicles of this age. you will receive the current vehicle registration in my name, along with a notarized bill of sale. Most states recognize rhode islands title laws and you should have no problem registering it. I can also get a stamped letter from the DMV stating the laws, and that the reg serves as a "transferable title" thanks for looking and good luck
