Hello I am selling my 2006 Mustang GT Premium. I purchased it in 2006 from Carmax with about 7500 miles on it. ( I assume the original owner let it go, Carmax bought and registered it, and when I bought it I became the third registered owner). It was my commuter car and now after nine years has only 92432 miles on her. 84k miles in 9 years averages 9,400 a year. Keep in mind it is a used vehicle - it is not show room condition. Ive had this mustang for nine years and kept good care of her. The engine and transmission is solid. It is solid with new spark plugs at 80k and oil changes every 5000 - 7500 with synthetic oil. The brake pads were changed out at around 80k from original. I coasted to stops and never got on the gas from redlights. Tires were changed out a few years ago from the original BFGs to four Nitto brand tires, so it will need new tires. I think the low price reflects this. (Four tires run around $450 - $750 depending on the brand). The wheels are the rare GT Premium Fan-Blade option. There is some curb rash on two of the rims (parallel parking in Los Angeles\Long Beach) It also has the optioned 3.55 rear differential gear, so it pulls very hard if you want it too. I had no intention of selling so at around 84,000 I had a $450 Pioneer Radio purchased at Best Buy installed (the brake-for-video safety feature disengaged so you could have a DVD movie play while you drive). At around 88,000 miles I purchased the JLT tuner used off of eBay and had it installed. I purchased the SCT Tuner from American Muscle. The mustang currently has the 91 octane download installed. It also has the 89 regular and 89 performance tunes installed on the tuner ready to download to the mustang, which takes about five minutes. It averages 23 - 26 MPG with the 91 Octane download installed. The O2 sensors were changed to new ones as part of maintenance. As for smog there is no CARB stamp on the JLT CAI however I never had ay problem smoking her but the original air box and filter are also included in the sale. Air Conditioner blows very cold and hard. There are no leaks underneath the vehicle. Seats are in very good condition with no tears. The plastic trim that has the electronic seat adjustment which is attached to the driver's side seat is missing a tab. Also there are two dings on the passenger side, one on the quarter panel below the antenna and another above the rear wheel area from someone opening a car door. There is a scratch on the rear bumper and some rock chips on the lip of the hood. See pictures. I would rather not sell her but I'm moving onto a bigger passenger vehicle. Brand new this GT sold for around $33k. It is time for a younger person to enjoy a GT mustang for a very good price. This mustang will go another 100k easily and then you can probably sell her for $4k or $5k. This era Mustang is getting harder and harder to find.
