Vehicle Detail
This car is fun and is in good working order as well. I am the second owner and have had the car since 2005. I have all the records of all work that has been do as well as maintenance records since I have owned it. The car is solid, gets decent gas mileage, and is certainly fun to drive. Not much has been done to it, mostly stock original everything. It does have a nice upgraded Kenwood Stereo with CD/ MP3/USB plug and detachable face. The car was repainted in 2006 after I had an encounter with a deer that cost me a hood, grill and light assembly. It is the same factory color and i have pix of the event if you'd like to see. It needs a couple of sensors, 1 for the emission system and 1 for the ABS traction system. The Emission sensor has no real effect on the car except for the engine light being on (fuel tank sensor to be exact). The Traction sensor is for the little triangle that is lit up saying it is not engaged (mechanic indicated it is working fine) . The only other item that needs some TLC is the alarm system which I have currently disconnected. It will on occasion randomly trip when you unlock the car and then not want to disarm. Im not an alarm expert and did not use it often so it hasn't bothered me. The the rubber window guide inside the drivers door is shot and as a result the window is a little sketchy to open and close, but the motor and everything works fine. The car does have normal wear and tear as would be expected for the age. Overall the paint is pretty good with some nicks and a couple dings. I am proud to say that as far as I know and could tell, there is no body filler anywhere. The engine is strong and does NOT burn oil and has NOT had any issues. The clutch, pressure plate and drive shaft (with u joints) have all been replaced over the past couple years and are all in very good condition. The brakes are solid, pads and rotors done in the past couple years as well. Tires are very good (rear has snow guard tires) . Not a glamor vehicle but it has been a great commuter car for me. As I mentioned, it is certainly a fun car to drive. I recently inherited a 2004 330, so of she goes. Feel free to email with questions of to arrange to see in person. Good luck, happy bidding and thanks for looking.
