Please, no low ballers An extremely fine example of a super rare and very desirable T Top Thunderbird. Built on the first day of T Top production at the LA plant and is one of approximately 400 T Top Thunderbirds built .Low original mileage, The car was placed in storage in 1996 with only 37491 miles on it. The car was very well maintained. No body damage, no rust ,has never been in an accident, This is an extremely well optioned car with almost every conceivable option. 8 track AM/FM stereo with Quadraphonic sound and upgraded speakers, optional color keyed rims, locking spare tire, custom made padded t top storage bags, trunk mounted t top restraint straps, Convenience Group, time delay windshield wipers, speed control, tilt column, electric rear window heater, rear vinyl roof which has no rips or tears and is not faded, working air conditioning, interior decor group, appearance protection group, remote controlled rear view mirrors, tinted glass, power cloth split bench seats, power windows, power door locks, The a/c system was flushed, the a/c vacuum valve was replaced with a modern updated vacuum valve that cycles the ac compressor, refilled with fresh Freeze 12 R 12 replacement refrigerant and works very well. The heater defroster also works very well. The carpet and door panels are in very good condition, all the glass is crack free and the windows go up and down fine, no chips or crack on the windshield. The car starts and runs and drives perfectly and is very comfortable., The dash pad has no wrinkles or cracks, the instrument panel plastic is clear with no cracks or beaks. The door panels have no rips or tears, the seats are in good condition with no rips or tears and the headliner is brand new. The T Top had leaked and stained the headliner so I had the T Top structural frame completely resealed along with new perimeter weatherstripping, new center bar felts , new front and rear felts and a new cloth headliner, 4 brand new ww tires. I flushed the gas tank and had the carb rebuilt. Ive been getting 15 MPG+ in town and 18-20+ MPG on the highway, the engine runs perfectly, the transmission shifts perfectly, no leaks, knocks or smoke. The car was parked near a pine tree so it does have several spots were the pine sap marred the paint,, it does a few minor scrapes on the front turn signal housing otherwise the finish is in very good condition. Comes with full set of service manuals and original owners manual.
