New INFO on this Rare Avanti They only Built 91 of these Avantis for this Year..and the Avanti Club Estimates there is only 48 left This is a Rare Car with only 48 Left and this is the only "Promotional Avanti" that was made.... And I have the "Promotional Paper Work " for the car...That is why it is Loaded with Options Plus this car has the "Ultra Rare" Power Moon Roof Option... These "Special Options" and Color were put on this Avanti so they could Show all the Options Avanti Offered to the Public So when you are taking Rare...This Avanti is Rare... When is the Last Time you saw one??? I have the Original Paper Work on the Rare Avainti "See Documents" As you can see...This is not a Normal Avanti. I thought it was “Odd” that when I did a Car Fax binging this is a 1987 Avanti and it was first time registered in 1989????I contacted the “Avanti Research Services” to see if they could shed some light into this Mystery....They had the Build Sheet and Two Invoices....All other Avantis only have One Invoice.One of the Invoices shows this going to a Avanti Dealer in California and used for Promoting the New AvantiThat is why this Avanti is Loaded with Options and also the “Extra Charge” for the Rare Leather Interior Option...Most Avanti's have Vinyl SeatsThis makes this Avanti even more Rare...And the Paper Work to back it up... The Average Price of a Car in 1987 was $10,000 Dollars...The Avanti's were selling for $39,000.00...That was a lot of Money back then... This is a 1987 Avanti based off the Avanti Studebaker way back in 1963 This car has the Looks of the 1963 but Runs and Drives so much Smoother and More Reliable This Avanti is a lot easier to get Mechanical parts for than the 1963 Avanti Studebaker also.
