Vehicle Detail

1968 CHEVROLET NOVA 400 SMALL BLOCK AUTO WITH 12 BOLT POSI POWER STEERING NEW VINTAGE AIR 1 This is one nice 68 Nova with a very stout motor, turbo trans and alot of curb appeal. I will tell the story as we work our way through the pictures. The paint has a light metallic mix and is very nice to be seven years old. The car is very solid and the undercarriage is very nice as well. My pictures are just as they come out of the camera. They are not ran through a photo enhancing program such as photo shop. What you see is what you get and the price is set very reasonable. Thanks for looking! 2 The chrome and cragar wheels are very nice with new tires. I have new 350 marker lights that are not shown in the pictures that will go with the car. 3 This is a 114 vin number car and in 1968 without documentation from the factory or dealer all V8 cars had 114 Vins. This is a SS tribute car and had the 307 on the column shift. I am sure some of 114 s were sold as true SS cars. 4 I have not sold a car on Ebay in two years I had two surgerys. I will not have feedback but prior to this I sold 40 plus cars mostly Corvettes the last three years and had 100% feedback for over six years. 5 I will black the grill out like the SS came, if you buy the car and want it that way. The top and bottom chrome would stay chrome. That line you see goes to the vintage air and needs blacked out too. 6 I always take my pictures in all light scenarios - flourescent, parial sun, full sun and shaded areas so you see the car in all light situations. This way you see the car as it will look in true life. 7 There are 50 pictures so you see the car from top to bottom and it is worth the wait to see this beautiful car. 8 9 I love the vinyl top. It really sets the car off and it was professionally done right. This car is very solid and has been on the car for over seven years not a bad spot on it. I would black the front grill out like the ss grill was made to set it off. t10 Some of the stainless could use a polishing. I only know the history the second owner told me. He bought the car from the guy that built the car. It is very clear he spent a lot of money. I took it and had it appraised by a shop in my area that builds alot of cars and they liked the car. The car is very nice with and will make someone a great ride. 11 I am a retired farmer and buy a few car along to enjoy. I was a chevrolet parts manager back in the early seventies when I came home from Vietnam. I love these old cars and like to enjoy them. If you have questions or want to make a reasonable offer just give me a call. I have sold several cars by someone calling making an offer. If we agree on a price I add a by it now while we are on the phone. This car is price very resonable to sell. This car could not be built anywhere cost to the reserve price. I will be glad to answer any question 870 930 5104 8 AM TO 6 PM Central Time. 12 Alot of interior, undercarriage and motor pics to come. 13 I have pictures of fenders, doors and quarders and all body parts clost to the end. 14 This 400 small block is very fast with a nice cam and 750 holley. I bought this from a 70 year old man that owned it for five years. It is very fast and dependable too. I have just played a little with it and the vintage air is very cold even in these 100 degree days we have in Arkansas. The radiator is big and the electric fan works good. It has headers and flow masters it was made to run. The man I bought it from had it inspected to have it licensed agin Missouri. 15 IT SETS GOOD AND LOOKS GREAT AND DRIVE VERY GOOD TOO. 16 The car only shows 2,500 since it was restored the second owner said. He had let it set one year. 17 18 19 20 The light touch of metallic in the paint give it a look of its own. 21 Seat belts in front only. These seats are very comfortable and all interior was new when replaced. This car drives very good. 22 23 Look at that oil pressure! I love the dash guage set. In the Eckler's parts book that set of guages was over $1100. The controls to the AC work great. The gas guage need a new sending unit and the speedometer is a little fast due to the 342 rearend being changed. 24 The B and M shifter works good although it took some getting used to. There are 4 vents to the AC. 25 No rust in areas that you see rust first in these cars. This car mirrors the clouds in this picture. 26 The interior is like new front and rear. 27 All the doorjams look great and the weather stripping is new too. 28 The car looks neat under the hood with everything in place as it should be. The oil pressure is very good and the oil was changed and serviced. 29 30 31 32 Lots of chrome and electric fan. 33 The 12 bolt posi and traction bars do not drag going over the 5 inch lift in my old farm shop. 34 35 342 gears in the possi rearend 36 Hood gap is good and all the trim lines are very good. 37 Doors open and shut very good and have new weatherstriping. 38 39 This is a very straight car from front to back. The body panels are are very straight without ripples. 40 ALL GLASS IS VERY GOOD TOO NOT SCRATCHED. 41 42 43 44 This paint is like a mirror notice the reflections and the touch of metallic makes it change colors. 45 46 47 48 49 The chrome is not bent it is just a reflection or something. 50 51 52 I have a new mat that is in the car now and I have a fifteen inch rally wheel to make a spare. 53 Door panels are like new. 54 55 56 Floor pans are rock solid. 57 Frame rails are tied together. 58 59 Tires are new and ride good. 60 61 I WILL BE GLAD TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS HONESTLY SO PLEASE ASK THEM. CENTRAL TIME 8AM TO 6PM 870 930 6104. 62 I could not work the radio and the antenna is one of the flex rubber ones.
