Rolls Royce Silver Shadow - 61,975 Miles With Records to Document the Mileage Starts, runs and drives nicely. I have the manual. Minor, but evident, normal engine oil leak. Body is clean - no rust or dents. Looks like original paint. There are minor flaws and a chip. Body paint and chrome are in very nice and presentable condition. Interior is very presentable as you can see. Minor flaws in the wood veneer. The car sat for 8 or 9 years before I bought it from the wife of the deceased owner. They lost their storage space or they would have kept it for 8 or 9 more years. I have all the proper papers to transfer the vehicle. The car recently passed NY State inspection. I found an old can of R-12 Freon and put it in the AC system. AC has been cold for 2 weeks now. Brake pressure light is on and though the car stops the way it should, I recommend shipping for any long distance. I have owned 3 Rolls Shadows model years between '74 and '82 and they all had brake issues. This one is my fourth Rolls. Upon purchase of the vehicle I had the front brake lines replaced along with the fuel pump. It sat for a long time and though it runs and drives real nice, there are no warranties or guarantees. There is probably some servicing that will need to be done for a car that sat (in a heated garage) this long. Tire's have almost new tread, but are over 10 years old. Fluids, belts and hoses may also need servicing. A little noise is evident from the rear when going over a bump - could be the spare tire. The car has not been driven more that 25 or so miles in ten years. A tune-up and filter change would be a good idea. I welcome and encourage a pre-purchase examination and road test from any qualified mechanic you send my way. These are very finicky cars and though it runs and drives great, anything can happen, and once it's paid for, it is sold with no guarantees, warranties or refunds.
