Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a 1994 Mustang GT Convertible. 5.0 L; V8; 215 hp.; Rear wheel drive, 5-speed manual transmission, 4-wheel ABS breaks; Deep Forest Green Metallic paint. This model year marks the 30th Anniversary of The Mustang, and 1994 was the year that the GT was reintroduced. Only 27,582 units were produced. It you google the year and model of this Mustang, you'll find it highly reviewed by both publications covering the automotive industry and Mustang enthusiasts. This is likely to become a special car among collectors. This particular car has been great, and it has been in my family since it was new, and driven off a lot in Southern California. The 163,000 miles are mostly from California highway driving. Since 2007, the car has been in Massachusetts and was driven during the summer months – it is great fun to drive and surprisingly comfortable, even on long trips. During the off-season, the car has been covered and/or garaged. The car has no known mechanical problems, no visible rust and no known issues with rust. It is being sold as is. Since 2007, we've had quite a lot of work done on this vehicle, all of it preformed at Teele Square Auto in Somerville MA, so as to keep it in good working order. The climate control system was replaced a couple of years ago and works like new. The roof was replaced in 2007 and does not leak. If you have specific questions about any other work that has been done on the car, please ask me prior to bidding. The paint is original, and the body shows predictable wear and tear due to the age of the car. The seats have some cosmetic wear-areas, but they remain quite comfortable. The rest of the interior is in remarkably good condition. The photos I have provided here are not retouched. If you’d like other images, please let me know the specifics of what you would like to see, and I’ll send them to you. If you are not local to Boston, and plan to ship the car, I encourage you get transport estimates before bidding. As a benchmark, it cost me $1,000 to have it brought by truck from California in 2007. This car has sentimental value to my family, and we've taken good care of it. We are selling it now because we have multiple vehicles, and are unable to drive it frequently enough to warrant the expense of keeping it. We hope that the buyer will enjoy it for many years to come.
