HERE'S A RANCHERO BARGAIN! BID WITH CONFIDENCE AND GOOD LUCK A wild sound, and a vintage, soft ride with gliding, effortless steering, and (of course) heart-pounding performance. It is a product of a bygone age. The age of American Dominated Automotive Design of the early, latter-half of the twentieth century, and we'll never see cars like this again. I purchased it in 1980 from the original owner. He repainted this Ranchero Squire in 1978, removing the exterior Squire woodgrain markings. He did, fortunately, leave the original interior and the Squire woodgrain dash.This California Desert Cream Puff has a few age related issues that need attention. The headliner is torn on the driver’s side, and the paint is fading. There are some dings and minor dents, and some rust is showing up in the lower fenders/doors. The transmission runs great but has some leaks, and the 1971 Factory A/C system hoses cracked during a recent valve job. Yet these items do not detract from the pure American Heritage and Spirit that this vehicle represents.There were only a few thousand of these 70/71 Squire model Rancheros ever built, and resolving the issues listed above would bring its value to nearly $20K, or more! Each year it becomes more collectible, and its value rises considerably more than I ever expected. It is a true American Icon!I really love this Ranchero, but I've finally decided that I'll never take it to the next level. I'm putting it up for sale. 71k Original miles.
