This is a last-edition VW cabriolet before the model was discontinued entirely the following year. It's the newest cabriolet you can buy and super fun to drive! It has been driven lightly over the past 13 years. The body is in excellent shape - there are no dents and the vehicle has never been in an accident. The engine was replaced 6 months ago with another VW engine with the same specs as the original so that the current engine itself only has about 40,000 mileage. The car has stayed within one family (passed from my father to my mother and then to me, which is how technically the title has changed ownership three times). The car has only been bought once before - when it was purchased brand new in 2002. The car has the feel of a sports car, with manual transmission and a convertible roof. The roll bar also makes this car an especially safe convertible.
