Vehicle Detail

1981 Ferrari 400i. Chassis # 34845. From my private collection in Palm Beach Florida. Imported when new in 1981 into California. Full documentation. Fantastic car, only 34,236 original miles, rare sunroof, automatic, silver with beautiful burgundy and black leather interior (smells great), good Michelin tires, wheels in excellent shape, optional dual AC (requires charging), all original books, leather Ferrari folder and records, fanatically maintained, no accidents/never damaged, garage kept and covered, workshop manuals, newer starter (2014), recent oil and filter change (April 2015), window motor regulator recently repaired, headliner a little less than perfect, glass is in good condition, expansion container for radiator recently repaired, very original except for radio/speakers (I have the radio/CD faceplate and the power antenna works), original Ferrari floor mats, new car cover, original leather tool pouch, jack and spare, never damaged, needs some minor exhaust leaks repaired, shown at The Cavillino Classic 2015 (Palm Beach Breakers), occasionally some of the lights act up (determined must be a short), overall drives great, wipers just stopped working, turn signal stalk is broken, never smoked in, leather and carpet very clean and without stains or odors. I'd like to describe the paint. It is an older repaint to the original color and its a 8.5 out of 10. I don't know the year the repaint but I would estimate 5-6 years ago. The rear trunk edge has a small hairline crack and the rear driver's side quarter panel has a slight imperfection. Overall it is very straight, correct panel gaps and quality refinished. It showed very nicely next to some much more valuable 250, Testarossa, etc. at Cavillino. Also, I presume the glass and all trim was disassembled carefully and installed to a high level. Finally, I recently had the front back bumper refinished to make it perfect. It had a small scratch on it. This 400i is beautiful and a fast appreciating V12 Ferrari that is still affordable. Frankly, it turns heads everywhere I drive it and is in great original condition. Please come and inspect anytime. Not a perfect car, but very very clean. I don't think you will be disappointed. Sold AS-IS. Deposit required and full payment within 7 days. I wasn't able to list as a 1981 because eBay wouldn't accept the 5 digit VIN so I listed as a 1980 on the site. Call with questions.
