NO BUY IT NOW- SOLD TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. *****Wow- This GSXR looks very nice. Still has the original paint. Tank looks good with no noticeable dents or damage only a few very small knicks in paint and light scratches. The bike has never been wrecked or layed down. Always adult owned and ridden. It still has a stock look with the original swingarm, original rear fender with correct rear turn signals and license plate light(slightly bent downward). Garb bar is nice and straight. The original blue seat is nice with no rips or tears. The 2 right side fairings have cracks as seen but easily repaired by skilled bodyman. The left side fairing around turbo cutout has a crack. Still has the original mirrors and t-bar. The Maier shield, tinted headlight cover, blue bar ends and front turn signals are aftermarket. Overall this machine presents very well it does have minor knicks and small scratches associated with a bike of this age. Would benefit greatly from thorough detail. *****This machine has a Mr. Turbo kit that was installed many years ago. It is the original engine and transmission with only 6200 original miles. I am unsure when it was "turbo-ized" but it was installed by a very reputable shop near Cincinnati. I have confirmed this with the owner of the shop as he remembered this bike. All of the proper head work and modifications were made to properly run this set up. This was not a back yard job. It was all professionally done with no expense spared. Throughout the years the bike has been used very little but has been used sparingly and properly cared for. The bike sat for a few years before I bought it. Last week I had the machine serviced by S&K Racing in Dayton. I spent over $1000 bringing the bike back to running/riding condition. The S&S Super B carburetor was ultrasonically cleaned and rebuilt. All of the fuel lines and vacuum lines were replaced. New battery, Changed all fluids and filters. Installed Dyna 2000 ignition and dyna tuned engine. This machine runs very well and shifts excellent. No smoke or unusual sounds. This machine sounds unbelievable and is loud as expected with the Mr. Turbo exhaust as seen. The exterior of turbo has surface rust as seen but does not affect operation. The tires and chain should be replaced but beyond that I rode this machine this week. This machine is not for the novice or faint of heart. Certainly this machine was hard to beat back in the day. Everything is period correct done in the late 80s or early 90's. It really is more of a drag bike but can be ridden on the street by a very skilled rider and mechanic. All of the lights works, Headlight, tail light, turn signals, all of the gauges work, horn works as do all indicator lights. The turbo gauge works but is low on oil. It may need a new seal. Even the clutch and kick stand safety's are still hooked up. The bike had an air shifter which has been mostly dismantled although the piston and rod can still be seen attached to shifter and pressure gauge can be seen. Everything is included to reinstall air shifter except vacuum lines. This machine has a rear strut but I will include a rear shock.
