RARE 1986 SAAB 900S Notchback. Huge manual sunroof, straight body, and a back seat that sleeps two when folded down. So-So interior, headliner intact, upholstery okay front passenger seat needs reupholstered, all lights work. 16 valve, 4 cyl. automatic transmission with ignition in between the front seats (I think that is pretty cool!) It needs a catalytic converter (the one in it was stolen), front axle, window switch, transmission bands adjusted and a tune up, to the best of my knowledge . I bought this car 3 years ago for $2500 and put in $2800 into rebuilding the top end (intake, valves, pistons, oil chassis) new fuel filter and pump, new hoses, new tires and general maintenance. Tags expired last August, no tickets or holds at the DMV, and the car has been sitting for a year (no old gas in the tank). Good car for a SAAB mechanic to work on, as it is a classic that needs just a little TLC to be a great car again. I loved this little car, I just don't have the time or cash to get her right again.
