1963 Studebaker Avanti R-1, less than 4000 total built that year, less than 1000 1964's built before Studebaker went out of business in the U.S.. Car was built in South Bend Indiana, and sold in Detroit, Michigan. Looks as if the car was repainted in the original color. Orange shag carpet was put in at some time. I have a new duel safety master cylinder goes with the car. Car has not been cleaned, this is how it came out of storage original on-restored. Some scrapes in the paint on the trunk lid. Some of the rubber fuel lines need to be replaced. Runs smooth, but smokes a little until it warms up. Some spare parts in boxes in trunk, don't know what they are, some look to be NOS.
