Up for consideration is a meticulously restored 1953 Chevrolet 3100 truck. This is an all original truck that has a few better than new upgrades. Above the headliner, behind the seat and under the seat is insulated with 1/2 in foam insulation. Also the firewall and under the floor mat is insulated with matting giving you the feel and acoustics of a much later model but the upgrade is invisible even to the most trained collector. Original 6 cylinder thiftmaster with original 3 speed on the column transmission. Frame off restoration with much attention given to every fine detail. Original rust free cab, new stepside bed and natural finish oak bed floor with stainless steel bed strips. All new wiring harness done in the neatest show quality fashion and all new lights with signals. Hidden tailgate trunnions and latches eliminating the unsightly chains and their potential to damage the paint. Paint, Body and Chrome are of the highest show quality. No disappointments. I have built many of these high quality trucks and have had several of my trucks and cars sold at Barrett Jackson over the last 10 years and I can tell you there would not be an eye batted if this fine truck should roll up on the glitzy Barrett Jackson stage to be sold.
