FOR AUCTION: 1997 Dodge Intrepid for AUCTION. LOW RESERVE (set at approx half of Edmunds.com private party sale price). ONLY 76815 Miles on this former Texas DPS car. Bought at auction by investor in early 2000's who passed away. This vehicle has been in storage for more than 10 years and has only recently been readied for the road and licensed in Michigan. Almost no rust can be found, really! It has not been driven in a michigan winter so no exposure to salt. It has 4 new goodyear tires. --> NEW ITEMS: Goodyear Tires, Duralast battery, Winshield wipers, fluids, air and oil filters. --> TWO KNOWN PROBLEMS: (1)air conditioning pump does not engage (clutch or solenoid?-it does not click when you hit the AC button). (2)ABS light is on but brakes work good (advised that they need bled w/"scan tool" to clear ABS light ?) Everything else seems to check out including all the lights, blinkers, etc. Power windows, Power mirrors, and stock radio w/ cassette. Runs great. I have way more invested in this car than it is worth and am willing to let it go cheap.
