I’m selling my ‘06 GTO because I need the room in my garage to store a ’62 Sunliner. The brazen orange color was only available in 2006 and it has the 18” wheels and 6 speed manual. With the black interior and the orange faces on the tach and speedo and the orange stitching on the seats and gear shift knob, I think it is one of the best looking interiors in these cars. Documentation includes the original (torn) factory window sticker plus a re-issued window sticker which was never applied, the security numbers card, and the original owner’s manual in the bag along with a “quick guide” booklet. The jacking instructions sheet, service parts identification card and the Holden U.S. Coupe spare wheel ID card are attached under the trunk shelf. I bought the car new in May 2007; it has 3191 miles. I’m now 70 and this car has been babied – never raced, drifted, abused or mistreated in any way. It is bone stock except for the addition of a CAGS eliminator (if you aren’t familiar with CAGS just google it) which is plugged into the factory harness with no cutting or rerouting involved – remove the eliminator and no one will ever know it was there. If a buyer would rather it was removed before taking possession, I will be glad to do that. Clear PA title in hand. I’m not going to go into the specs or factory options - if you’re interested in these cars, you already know them. The PA inspection and emissions stickers expired in June, 2015 but if you need to have current PA stickers on the car - if you're a PA resident or plan to drive the car home, for example - that is no problem at all, just let me know after the purchase. The paint has two noticeable but very small imperfections. There are two tiny chips between the hood and grille which must have come from a stone thrown up – they are about 1/4” apart and very small – unnoticeable unless you look. There is also an area on the right rear quarter where it just made contact with a wooden shelf while backing into the garage. The largest mark is ¼” long and there are 4 individual marks in a small area. Please see the applicable photos. I want full disclosure for the auction but bear in mind that a dime dwarfs these individual marks and a routine walk-around the car would probably not spot them. Except for that this GTO is as close to brand new as you could want. Everything works as it should and the car drives, runs and tracks like a dream. The engine bay, trunk, wheels, interior and the rest of the body are all clean and look new. The original tires look great but be aware they are at least 9 years old. The clutch and the engagement is perhaps the easiest and smoothest of any car I’ve ever driven and the LS2 and transmission perform well. No one has ever smoked, eaten or drunk anything in the car – no pets or children were ever passengers. I installed aftermarket floor mats over the originals the day after purchase to protect them and will leave them in the car if the buyer wants them. The only "part" missing from the car is one of the little plastic fasteners which are supposed to hold the floor mats down. This car has never spent a night outside my attached, smoke-free garage and has never been parked in a lot next to another car. It has never been driven in the rain. It has never even been taken outside the garage during the colder months to avoid driving it when de-icing solution or salt may have been applied to the roads. I don’t even take it out in the Spring until there’s been a couple of good rains to wash the roads clean! It is always hooked up to a quality battery minder. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed. I hate to see it go but it's time. If the buyer needs to have the car shipped, it is the buyer’s sole responsibility to contact/choose a shipper, arrange the pickup, and pay for any and all costs associated with the shipping. I will be available only to provide easy access to the GTO with plenty of room for any size shipping vehicle to maneuver and load the car.
