Vehicle Detail

THIS VEHICLE CHECKS OUT ON THE 'VEHICLE CHECK' AT A 72, FROM 45-73 (Look it up, do the research before buying!) The mileage is listed at 133,000 to be on the safe side, although I believe it may still be in the 120s, as I haven't driven the car in about 4 months and don't remember the mileage exactly. This car was purchased in November of 2010 for 14,900 (cash deal only). The car has had lots of work done to it since purchased, most recently the water transfer pipe job was professionally done. This is a common problem on these vehicles and repairs can cost upwards of 5,000 dollars depending on the shop you take it to. It is one of the most costly repairs and BMW charges 10,000 dollars for it! Luckily a friend of mine owns a BMW/Audi/Mercedes shop and fixed it for about 1,500. If you plan on buying any 7 series of this style, be sure to check that this job has been done from the seller, as many people are selling these vehicles at low prices to avoid paying for the repair in the near future, and dump them off on unknowing buyers. Do your research before buying a vehicle! I have found quite a bit of receipts since I've owned the vehicle and some of those pictures will be posted as well. I am going to be very straight forward and honest with my approach while selling my vehicle, and I know their is a buyer out there, who will appreciate my honesty and blunt approach with finding a new home for this beauty. This car is the "Flagship" model BMW, the biggest, baddest, most luxurious BMW has to offer at the top of it's class in sedans with a price tag of 95,000+ when new. This car was my everyday driver but honestly too much for me to afford working a regular job, which is why I am taking the loss with over 8,000 dollars worth of shop repairs in the past few years of owning it. My loss is your gain! as I have a new primary vehicle now, which is more affordable for me. Although it Is not fancy, enjoyable to drive, fast, and far from an eye catcher! When I purchased this vehicle I checked out the carfax and everything checked out great, repairs and oil changes all kept up with and done professionally. For this car to be road ready, it needs a new battery ($97.00), and an alternator ($289.00), and the shop repair is $150.00 at most shops. So for about $536.00 this car will be road ready and has no other mechanical issues, preventing it from taking short or long trips. Overall the car does have it's small cosmetic issues, it is still in good condition and turns heads and gets compliments at almost every gas station. I have various parts that are included with the car, that just need to be put on, such as; new hood shocks, a sunroof track with sunroof glass, and inside sunroof headliner, new rear trunk badge, alternator belt for the alternator repair. The A/C works great and gets super cold, the seats have air conditioned, and heat functions, as well as massage. This car does need quite a few small cosmetic repairs to have in top notch shape, and I've recently seen this same model with even higher mileage at various lots listed between $9,500 and $13,000. I'd imagine everything could be taken care of for 1,500 or less (Drivers side paint/clear coat included). These are all things that can be done over time as the car will get you around for under $550. If you are a fan of these vehicles, you can be assured that you are getting a vehicle that has had almost all major repairs done in the past 3 years, keeping you from spending out of your pocket. You should even be able to make a decent profit on this vehicle if you decide to sell it down the road with the cosmetic fixes and the alternator repair. I can no longer afford to keep this vehicle, which is why I am selling it as is, and taking a HUGE loss. Below, I have listed the good things about the car, as well as the bad, so you will have more than enough information on what is what. I am selling this vehicle as is, If you have any questions, feel free to message me and I will respond asap. I am starting the bid at 3,400, buyer pays shipping, and $500 immediate deposit. Happy Bidding! The Good;-Very Fast V8 4.4 Liter 0-60 in 5.5s-Extended version, 1.5 ft longer than the I version.-17/26 mpg-Water Transfer Pipe repair done recently with upper motor rebuild at time of job (past 12 months). - New gaskets, spark plugs etc.-New ball joint/control arm (Drivers side)-Transmission flush and new filter in past year- Spare tire with factory wheel-Oil changes done regularly -Head turner-Good tread life on all but one tire-CD changer The Bad;-needs passenger seat, button cover (seat still functionally)-needs I drive center console controller for radio and other controls ($60.00-$80.00 here on eBay.) Does not leak.-small dent in drivers fender\small crack in head light lens-Needs driver side bulb and igniter -Subwoofers under seat In car have not worked since I purchased it.-Drivers side under Windows could use a clear coat, Turtle wax Black Magicâ„¢ gets it to shine great for close to a week.-headliner slightly sags -Car has been sitting for 4 months.-hood shocks need to be put on (come with the vehicle)-Drivers air bag light on from putting in new door speaker (never went back and took off the door panel afterwards).-plastic latch to open hood needs replacing ($13?)
