2001 Chysler Town and Country Dark Metallic Blue, Blue leather, Automatic, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power doors, Power Rear Hatch, 3.8 L V6 Minivan. This Van has been a loved member of our family, It has had the following items replaced over the past 2 years: Rear Hatch struts, Control arms with ball joints, Complete Front Strut Assemblies, Drivers power window, and Rear qtr window motors (replaced with used functional units). Past year Front brake pads, all 4 tires, Battery, Starter, and Alternator. Past month Cam Postition Sensor, Crank Position Sensor, Coil Pack. One month ago it developed a p1391 code I had the codes read and was advised to replace the Cam position sensor, Crank position sensor, and Coil pack. I did this and the code cleared for a day then returned which causes a rough run condition and stalling. There are 2 common fixes for this that I found online this is a wiring fix around the sensor wiring (wiring connector fix a dollar in connectors) or possibly a flexplate replacement (Part cost 56 to 100 online) . This is not the type of repair my neighborhood home owners association will allow or that I have the time for so the van was replaced with a new one. Thus it would need initially to be towed to repair. The Van overall is in nice shape and drove good prior to this. I want to try to disclose all the other known flaws that would make it awesome again. The following items were on the repair list when I decided to replace it: Front bumper damage past 6 months, rear bumper damage on it when I purchased it, passenger front needs power window motor on ebay or rock auto for 38 dollars, dash trim cracked around warning light cluster, headliner drooping (headliner company says its 150 to replace), Ac compressor needs replaced can get reman unit ebay 170 bucks, passenger power door intermittent latches completely when cycled with power work 100% when manually latching. If you have any questions please ask. I am not interested in trading the van or cashing a check for double the sale price and refunding the difference.
