2003 BMW 540i M-Tech. Very rare car, BMW only made the M-Tech package in 2003. If you’re looking then I assume you know what it is. White (very rare color for a 540i) on grey, beautiful combination. 4.4 liter V8, runs like new. Automatic transmission shifts like new, car is in great condition with low miles. BMW CCA member. BMW fanatic owned (1 of 4 BMWs currently in family). I just don’t drive it too much and it’s a sin not to. Low miles, only 91,XXX original miles. I have spent a lot of money on this car, have all/most receipts. Items done in last ~7,000 miles: Valley pan gasket Intake manifold cover/gasket Valve cover gaskets Water flange gasket Water pump Thermostat Oil serpentine hose Serpentine belts Throttle housing flange to intake manifold 02 sensor Rear links Engine mounts Coolant hoses Left and right upper timing cover gaskets Camshaft solenoid gasket Front sway bar links Idler arm Recent 4 wheel alignment Left and right rear door vapor seals Front sway bar link Front brakes (rotors and pads) Rear brakes (rotors and pads) Front thrust rod bushings Flush rear differential fluid (4) Michelin Pilot Sport tires (best money can buy) New black kidney grills Instrument cluster pixels repaired (has OEM M5stainless steel rings installed) New OEM BMW battery Air filter Etc…… All work done at dealer or local BMW specialist. Synthetic oil changes done every 3k miles. I’ve owned the car for three years. As you can see, all the typical, expensive work that’s needed for any 540i is DONE. Car drives wonderfully, smooth, straight, exactly as it should. Interior is a 8.5 out of 10, paint is a 8 out of 10. It’s a 13 year old car after all. It looks like new from 20 feet but has a few dings, nicks and a small scratch here and there. My plan was never to sell this car but it’s one of six cars and something needs to go. Car is detailed monthly and cared for like few others. Leather in great shape. Doesn’t leak a drop of oil! Very solid car, totally up to spec. What it needs: perhaps a left rear window regulator, maybe it’s a fuse, not sure. Haven’t had time to drop off at dealer for an assessment (window is closed and I barely open it). Front headlight lenses need a good cleaning. Minor (1”) ding/scuff on driver’s side door (difficult to even see in pictures) nothing a paintless dent removal guy couldn’t easily take out. Can barely see but want to be honest. Never bothered me enough to have removed. Driver’s side A pillar interior fabric needs to be replaced. The underside is an identical color to the black headliner so I never bother with it. Incredibly sharp car, I will miss it. Located in south east PA, one hour north of Philadelphia. Clean title in hand. Shipping at buyers cost, I will help if needed. Have all books and 3 keys. Car destined to be a collectors car one day and will take little to make perfect. Sure there may be cheaper cars available but most likely haven’t had the thousands of dollars invested in maintenance. Adult owned!
