Vehicle Detail

2007 CBR600RR 17,043 miles - This bike was purchased in early 2013 from a local motorcycle dealer with 9900 miles on the odometer. It has had 2 previous owners before me, I was told that it was basically a one owner bike being that the second owner bought it for his son and sold it right back to him because he felt it wasn’t safe for him. This bike has a clean title. - It has never been wrecked but I have laid it down once when I was coming out of the garage from getting new tires on a cold day and once when parking it and the front tire hit a slick patch of concrete in my garage. Both times were at 1-5 mph and didn’t do any damage to the frame or motor but they did scuff up the sides a bit as seen in the pictures. When I bought it there was evidence of some type of scrapes that were covered up with red paint near the gas tank and black paint on the bottom of the engine (also seen in pictures) so I am not sure what happened with the previous owner if he laid it down or what. The unpainted scrape was from where it was dropped coming out of a turn when I got the new tires. Like I said the bike rides perfectly and I have never had any issues with it but I want to be honest and specify everything with the bike. It has never had trouble starting or thrown a check engine light, it runs very strong and smooth. This would be an excellent beginner super sport coming from a 250, a track bike, or even a stunt bike. - The 07-08 Cbr600’s are known for being some of the best 600’s to date. They have higher HP than the earlier/later 600r’s, but It's more than just horsepower numbers. In addition to having the best power delivery and midrange thrust, the suspension, chassis and brakes were all improved from previous models. The bike became lighter and more agile. Acceleration, braking, handling were all improved. In 2009 Honda made changes to the bike in order to meet noise regulations and it lost some power. - I have put about 7,500 miles on this bike since I bought it and it has performed very well for me but it is time to get rid of it. I haven’t done any modifications on the bike it is completely stock. I have changed the oil and filter every 2000-2500 miles using Honda GN4 and the tires twice. The tires on it now are Michelin Pilot road 3 (almost new) which are not a full on sport tire kind of in between a sport and sport touring but last a lot longer than a full on sport tire. I have rode it a few times this year just fine but I feel that it could use a new chain. All in all a very nice bike, the fairings still look good but like I said they have a few scrapes here and there. - It was purchased for around 5500 but because of the scrapes from being laid down I feel 3000 is a good reserve considering it rides perfect and still is in pretty good condition. - Buyer is fully responsible for the shipping arrangements of the bike. Let me know if you need any additional pictures I would be glad to take them.
