1998 Mercedes S420 - 145,049 CarFax Documented Miles Body and interior are in mint to showroom condition. AC is ice cold! No dents or rust anywhere. 4 almost new Michelin tires grace this fine automobile. This car just passed NY State inspection. Strong motor and tranny. Runs and drives 100%, except for one problem - it has an intermittent tendency to run hot! I bought the car 5 miles from my location in April and drove it locally with no problems. Upon getting ready to sell it to a prospective retail buyer, the car started to run hot. On the verge of overheating, I shut it down and gently drove it back to my shop. It was a 90 degree day with the AC on when we road tested the car. Needless to say, the buyer turned it down. Letting it idle at my repair facility for 45 minutes the temps were normal.
