1966 PONTIAC GTO "HIGHLY OPTIONED"Documented by PHS 389 ci Motor 4 bbl Automatic YS Engine Manifest, 335 Horse Power, 3:23 Rear-End Ratio, Power Steering, Power Brakes Rally Wheels, Bucket Seats and Console, Soft Ray Glass All Windows, Custom Air Conditioning, Electric Clock, AM/FM Pushbutton Radio, Rear Seat Speaker A little history about this car. The car spent most of her early life in Connecticut. She then spent many years nestled in a barn in Upstate New York before the previous owner rescued her in 2001 with 106,000 miles. During his ownership he put less than 4000 miles on her to attend local car shows and occasional joy rides around town. She was also stored in a warm dry garage and never driven in the rain. She has never been body-off restored and her under carriage and frame is in EXTREMELY good condition. In this listing please see the photo of the extensive restoration and maintenance that was done to her by the previous owner. THIS CAR TURNS HEADS EVERYWHERE SHE GOES! She was originally Marina Turquoise (L Code) with the current black interior (223) With a little TLC she could be a Concourse Show Car. Things that I know are incorrect on the car and items she needs or that could be addressed: The car could use 2 new seat covers. Currently the transmission is a TH 400 Pontiac trans, not the original Power Glide (which is not a bad thing because she has a much better transmission now.) The cylinder heads are 1976 400 ci vintage. In it's early years the car was in a fender bender and a 1967 GTO rear-end panel and trunk were installed (I have an original 1966 trunk lid that will be included with the car.)
