But the 400 Engine is very healthy and was rebuilt & enhanced by previous owner, a father/son project then sat for a couple of years, I gladly bought it and had a good mechanic go over basics to make it ready to drive around and play with, but I have a boat coming next week and need the space and money to put towards the boat, thus NO RESERVE, CAR WILL SELL to high bidder!It looks very "COOL" and is a pleasure to drive, it is VERY FAST & RESPONSIVE when you touch the pedal, I have never raced it but it probably would win on the streets!I have driven it 50 miles by highway, and to local car shows, and all around the neighborhood and it is fun and exciting to drive!NICE ALUMINUM AMERICAN RACING MAG WHEELS AND NICE WIDE TIRES. EXCELLENT SOLID BODY WITH FLAT BLACK PAINT & RACING STRIPES.ORIGINAL houndstooth trunk mat , & OWNERS MANUAL.There is always more to see and talk about, more things to fix & improve, its a very solid driver not a show winner= it has flaws, so ask questions, look at the photos, come if you can to go for a ride.These 1969 , 1970 , 1971 & 1972 FIREBIRD'S are bringing up to $30,000 or $40,000+ these days, they have shot up in popularity and value, and while this is NOT one of those highly restored big money coupes, it IS a very "presentable" driver, that is fun to drive. It has A/C (which needs work) and many other Esprit options, bucket seats, center console, spoiler, Ram air hood, etc, It is a very solid body car and is a driver which always has things to do and improve, but you can drive it now and have fun!NO RESERVE !
