Up for auction is my much loved Insight.I bought it almost a year ago with just under 50k miles.The previous (first) owner was in the military and based on the low mileage and low avg fuel consumption, I can only guess she never left base.On a trip to NC a couple months ago, with careful driving, I consistently saw 70mpg. Hyper-milers can get much more.When I bought it I was worried about the IMA battery pack so I bought a grid charger. I used it once and since then the pack has never gone much below half charge even in the mountains of NC. IMA - I don't know the history of the IMA. I am lead to believe it has been replaced at some point based on the car being 15 years old and 1) how well it performs and 2) some of the little plastic hold downs were missing and one bolt was missing from the rear cover. I noticed that when I installed the grid charger. Tires - Front are new and rear are as-new 8-9/32" tread (new is 10/32"). All tires are matching Potenza's Interior - Smoke free car. Carpets and floor mats are in very good condition. The only reason I'm selling is because I just finished converting a Ranger to full electric. I'm retiring from the Air Force this winter and (ironically) I need a truck that can haul the Ranger when I move. I would consider a trade for a good reliable full size truck. I will be sorry to see this car go but it's time to move on. Good luck.
