Vehicle Detail

Selling a 1965 Buick Super Wildcat, numbers matching factory 425 c.i., dual quad, 4 speed. This car has a little over 69,000 original miles, and has been stored for the past 40 years in a local barn. This is a one owner, very rare car, of which only 50 or so were built. There's not too much information out there on these cars, because of the rarity. It is triple black, with options like a heavy duty suspension, heavy duty brakes, heavy duty cooling, 4 speed transmission, Posi rear, deep tint sunshade glass all the way around, and 5-spoke Buick wheels. Overall, the car is 100% solid, and still has the factory chalk marks on the firewall, has the original GM spark plug wires, jute padding on the floors, and still has the tags on the coil springs. The trim and interior was removed back in the early 70's in order to have the car repainted. After that, it was painted, and put into storage, without being touched again. I have all the original trim, original interior, and other original parts for the car, though I am not positive the air cleaner is complete. The car should be repainted before reassembly, and has a few small dents: one on the quarter panel, one on the hood, and one on each front fender from storage. Please look at the pictures to see. The bumpers will need to be rechromed, and the front bumper has a small dent in it. I have brand new carpet for the car, just replaced the fuel pump, had the radiator re-cored, and just replaced the thermostat, belts, heater core and hoses. The gas tank is currently out of the car, but is solid. It just needs to be cleaned out. The car does run and drive, and starts right up, however, it will need the carburetors rebuilt (the rebuild kit comes with the car), and needs the brakes looked at. The car is a very original, very rare, very straight and solid muscle car. It would not take much effort to finish this car, and have one of the rarest Buicks around. Serious bidders only please. I reserve the right to end the auction early, but the car will be sold with no reserve. Please email or call me with any questions at 302-540-0391. Thanks, Jimmy. On Jul-09-15 at 12:42:09 PDT, seller added the following information: I've been getting a lot questions about these motor numbers. Front of block reads L X 282 5H922892 SERIAL # 466375H 922892 Transmission has T-10 on the pass. side of the cast iron housing. I have the complete interior for the car, along with a factory am\fm radio. I also have a lot of extra parts that I've gathered over the years, that are original Buick parts not aftermarket. There is a extra set of the Buick rally wheels just like the ones on the car. Thanks, Jimmy
