Vehicle Detail

1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe, original V8-289 CID, 4-barrel Carter carburetor, original C4 Automatic Transmission, original 12-volt generator, original Eaton Power Steering pump, Air Condition converted to R-134a, Power Brake Conversion, 121k original miles. Assembled in Dearborn, Michigan in December 1964. I recently purchased this vehicle. I reupholstered the seats, fixed a few leaks (power steering, trans pan), replaced the seat moldings, door sill plates and exterior mirrors and gave it a good detail. The previous owner bought it in 2002 with 108k miles on it. Prior to that, it was garaged kept for 20+ years. The previous owner did the the following: new leaf springs (2011), new gas tank (2008), new molded nylon weave carpet with sound deadener and insulation (2015), stripped-primed-painted-clear coat original Caspian Blue (2012), new OEM front & rear chrome bumpers (2012), new dual exhaust (2011), new Air Conditioning (2011), new power brake conversion system (2011), new 15" OEM Styled Steel rims (2008), new front floor pans (2015). This car has XM installed and ready for activation. The car drives great and stops great. The a/c is cold and works perfectly. The interior looks great but has minimal wear. The original owner of the car was a lady and had the seats upholstered in velour. She also had the headliner done in velour. I reupholstered the seats with new vinyl and new seat foam but left the velour headliner since it looks good and is good condition. All the glass in great shape. All windows roll up and down perfectly. The cowling is rust and leak free. The paint is absolutely beautiful but has a couple of touch up spots that does not affect the appearance of the car at all. **Update** Just installed new door panels, door sill plates and seat side moldings. Not in the photo is the hump hugger center console with cup holders. The car is sold with a bill of sale only. Georgia does not title cars this old unless it has a prior, out of state title. Car is sold as-is with no warranty. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally.
