1979 VW Super Beetle Convertible with 74,000 original miles. Original California car with only one previous owner, it is very presentable and clean. Undercoated from the factory so it was pretty well protected underneath. It is in overall amazing condition without any major modifications. Seats and interior are in great shape. Dash has a hairline crack over the instrument cluster which is hardly noticeable. Has original sport wheels, including the spare, as well as the original owners manual. The convertible top boot and original jack & lug wrench are included as well. All gauges work (including the clock!) and has an AM/FM Cassette stereo. The bug rides, drives and stops like it should and has plenty of power. Spent $1500 recently with a local Volkswagen mechanic to ensure it was road worthy after sitting garaged and unused several years (receipts included with sale). Fuel system/tank cleaned, new fuel pump, battery, brakes, front brake cylinders, brake lines, master cylinder and oil and fluids serviced/changed. The fuel system has been changed to a carburetor at some point in its life, and has a dual exhaust system. Comes with a clean Maryland title. Overall it is a super clean and cute little car that is an excellent driver and looks amazing. It has little items that can stand to be refreshed/replaced or just enjoy it the way it is. It is really a sharp looking car and is loads of fun to drive with the top down.
