This 2000 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0 manual sedan starts up and lot drives but has mechanical and cosmetic issues. Mainly, there is a lot of cosmetic damage and the rear shocks are blown out. It is a FOUR DOOR WITH MANUAL TRANS. The Carfax report shows 3 owners and two accidents in 2002 (front right side, moderate damage no airbag deployed) and 2005 (left rear side, very minor damage reported). There are dents, scuffs, rust, scratches, and worn or broken trim pieces. There are also mechanical issues.

With repairs and TLC, this may be a good car for someone or used for parts. The car starts up and drove around but has the following mechanical issues:

Started right up and lot drive OK

Right front lower control arm loose

Oil leak

Transmission fluid leak

Rear shocks blown out

Driver front and passenger rear windows do not work

Trunk will not open

Check engine light on

CV boots torn

Rear brake motors very rusty

SRS light on

ABS light on (ABS inop)

Drivers outside power mirror inop

Do cosmetic damage that affects drivability!

Other Notes:

Interior very dirty and very rough, musty odor

AC works

Locks and sunroof work

Clutch seems very usable and drove around the lot just fine

Very little underbody rust. Rust is NOT a safety issue

Wood shims are holding up the driver side window

Cosmetic/Body issues: Please see all pictures. The body is in drivable condition with some cosmetic damage and cosmetic rust. There are heavy scratches and scuffs with paint damage and some small areas of rust. Underneath there is VERY minimal rust. The interior is in usable but rough condition and has been lightly cleaned. See pictures for interior trim damage.
